MORE ABOUT THIS COUNTRY

The Central Asian country of Tajikistan lies in the epicenter of Islamic oppressive regimes. Afghanistan and Iran are close, and with it, the rise of radical Islamic influence in Tajikistan—persecution has been on the rise in recent months. All Christian activities are illegal in the country. There is no scope for conducting evangelical outreach in Tajikistan. The Church continues to grow despite the persecution. New Christian Believers are highly vulnerable due to societal discrimination, pressure from families, and targeted by radical Islamic groups. Tajikistan ranks 46th in the Open Doors Persecution List in 2024.

Israel

PRAYER FOR THIS COUNTRY

Praise Points

Praise God for all the people tirelessly working towards peace in the region (The Bible, Psalm 29:11).

Praise God for all the people who voice out fearlessly against the wicked who, for selfish reasons, are menacing the region and blemishing Israel (The Bible, Isaiah 5:20).

Prayer Points

Pray for the international community to step in and force a ceasefire between all warring countries and factions (The Bible, Matthew 5:9).

Pray for God’s divine intervention to soften the hardened hearts that are demanding more carnage in Gaza and Lebanon (The Bible, Psalm 7:9).

Pray for God’s protection of the Israeli people from any backlash by the countries in the region (The Bible, Psalm 12:7).

Pray for a significant breakthrough in the efforts for lasting peace in the region (The Bible, Matthew 19:26).

A Call to Salvation

Let those disillusioned by the violence surrounding them take refuge in the stronghold of the only Living God. Let Israel have a great revival during these uncertain days (The Bible, Psalm 85:6).

Promise to the Nation

For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (The Bible, Isaiah 9:6).

MORE ABOUT THIS COUNTRY

Israel is the most debated country in the world today. Every day, there are massive protests against the war on Gaza and the escalating war in Lebanon throughout the world, including Israel. There are a lot of conflicting accounts of the events on the ground in Gaza as well as in Lebanon. One part of it is clear – the massive humanitarian crisis. There are many facets to this violent conflict, which keeps spilling over into more countries. Israel, the Gaza Strip, Iran, Lebanon, and the Houthi rebels in Yemen are all involved to some extent. In recent days, there have been confrontations reported between the UN Peacekeeping Forces in Lebanon and the IDF. The situation is spiraling out of control precariously, and we need God’s intervention to stop this carnage before it creates a more significant crisis in the region.
