Children’s rights in Tajikistan face several worrying challenges, according to a new report from the country’s Institute of the Commissioner for Children’s Rights (Ombudsman). In 2025, the office received 167 complaints about children’s rights, showing that many families still need help and protection. Most of these cases were about money problems, lack of child support, and poor living conditions. But a serious concern is growing violence against children and limits on their right to education. Some children cannot study properly because of family or social problems, and others face unsafe home environments. The report also shows that mothers are often the ones who ask for help when children’s rights are violated. Even though the government is trying to improve laws and protection systems, problems remain in real life. Many children in poor families struggle with safety, school access, and basic care. The situation shows that more effort is needed to protect children, reduce violence, and make sure every child can study and grow in a safe and supportive environment.
Jehovah Jireh, we pray for all the children in Tajikistan to have access to healthy food, shelter, education, proper healthcare services, and other needs and rights without any hindrances. We pray for improved and safe environments for all children to grow and shine for Your Glory (The Holy Bible, Luke 1:37).
Pray for the authorities to take necessary action to curb the increasing violence against children in Tajikistan. Pray for divine protection upon all the children in the nation from all evil. Pray that, like the arrows in the hands of a warrior, the young souls in the country, in the Hands of the Almighty GOD, are doing HIS Purpose (The Holy Bible, Psalm 127:4).
