Libya is a North African country that has been in a constant state of turmoil since 2011. The country does not have a government that can control all the land. There are factions constantly raiding each other to create a lawlessness that endangers the few Christian Believers in Libya. The majority of the Christians are converts from Islam. They have to practice their faith in secret. Meeting together is nearly impossible. While there is no sophisticated surveillance technology available in Libya, a network of spies and the local population pose a significant threat to Christians gathering together. The majority of converts heard about Jesus Christ through personal evangelism, or through dreams. Several Christians have died at the hands of Islamic groups.
