Israel is the most debated country in the world today. Every day, there are massive protests against the war on Gaza and the escalating war in Lebanon throughout the world, including Israel. There are a lot of conflicting accounts of the events on the ground in Gaza as well as in Lebanon. One part of it is clear – the massive humanitarian crisis. There are many facets to this violent conflict, which keeps spilling over into more countries. Israel, the Gaza Strip, Iran, Lebanon, and the Houthi rebels in Yemen are all involved to some extent. In recent days, there have been confrontations reported between the UN Peacekeeping Forces in Lebanon and the IDF. The situation is spiraling out of control precariously, and we need God’s intervention to stop this carnage before it creates a more significant crisis in the region.
