Tunisian Woman Shouts Christ from the Internet!

Muslim countries are almost exclusively closed to the gospel witness. In most cases, one can be arrested and even killed for “changing religion” to follow Christ.

While attending a university in a North African country, Bassma Dabbour Jaballah befriended someone who was later burned at the stake for turning to Christ. Horrified, this woman began to question Islam. If someone is born a Muslim, do they have to remain a Muslim? She read the Bible to find spiritual answers. The Holy Spirit showed her that the God of the Bible values and dignifies women. This understanding led her to a transforming faith in Jesus Christ.

She started to share her new faith with other women until she eventually had to move to Canada. She now works with Voice of the Martyrs. Her work involves evangelism through the internet of Muslim Arabs who do not yet know the Savior. She says thousands of Muslims are turning to Jesus Christ every day. Perhaps your prayers will lead thousands more to the Throne of Grace!

Let us pray fervently for:

  • Thank the Lord for what He is doing among Muslims (The Bible, John 4:35-38).
  • For her ministry to help Muslims find the Truth (The Bible, John 8:32).
  • For Bassma to make disciples who will make more disciples (The Bible, John 1:45-46).
