Youth unemployment in Albania remains a significant challenge, with 24.6% of young people aged 15-29 neither in employment, education, nor training (NEET). The Youth Guarantee, launched in November 2023, aims to combat this issue by offering youth under 30 employment, education, or training opportunities within four months of registration. The program has helped 543 young individuals find new opportunities, offering tailored support such as professional training, internships, and job placements. This initiative, supported by the EU, is helping to reduce youth unemployment and build a skilled workforce for Albania’s future.
