Civilians in Sudan’s Zamzam displacement camp, North Darfur, are nearly unreachable, with severe food shortages and escalating violence. The UN warns of rising deaths, including children, after aid was suspended due to shelling. Fighting between Sudan’s army and the RSF militia has intensified, with recent attacks killing dozens in Abu Shouk camp. Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has suspended activities due to attacks on staff and facilities, leaving 500,000 displaced people at greater risk. The UN warns of rising deaths, including children, and reports of widespread violence, including child rape. Despite these challenges, the UN has allocated $22 million in emergency aid, and MSF continues assisting in other areas of Darfur.

Lord Jesus Christ, arise and rebuke the raging violence and conflict in Sudan. Let great calm and peace prevail in the nation (The Holy Bible, Luke 8:24).

Lord Jesus Christ, we pray for Your healing touch to restore the brokenness in Sudan due to this power struggle. We plead for Your divine provision, comfort, and healing to those suffering from violence and conflict. Rebuild the ruined villages, towns, and lives in Sudan (The Holy Bible, Amos 9:14-15).
