The United States’ abrupt termination of foreign aid to Yemen has worsened an already dire humanitarian crisis, with millions at risk. Following a 90-day aid review, President Trump’s administration canceled 83% of USAID programs, including critical services like malnutrition treatment, healthcare, and support for displaced people. The aid cuts, combined with the US’s designation of the Huthis as a terrorist group and increased military strikes, are devastating civilians, particularly in Huthi-controlled areas. The lack of clear humanitarian exemptions and guidance has forced aid groups to shut down or suspend operations. With only 6.9% of Yemen’s humanitarian response plan funded in 2025, urgent international support is needed to prevent further suffering and uphold basic human rights.

Pray against the military strikes and bloodshed in Yemen. Pray for divine peace and protection over innocent civilians caught in the conflict, particularly in Huthi-controlled regions. (The Holy Bible, Psalm 72:14).

Pray for the Holy Spirit of GOD to stir the hearts of international authorities and aid organizations to respond to Yemen’s humanitarian crisis swiftly and generously. Pray for the Yemeni people to have access to all their basic needs and rights (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 19:17).
