Tibet: China seems to have struck back against a Tibetan dissident once more. Initially, his household was cut off from electricity and water, and now he has been taken into custody, according to reports from his family to human rights organizations. Kelsang, a 42-year-old Tibetan residing in Serdak Township, Dêngqên County, Chamdo Prefecture, in the Tibet Autonomous Region, has endured ongoing harassment from Chinese officials. For more than nine years, his family has been deprived of essential services such as electricity and water, affecting their everyday lives.
- Pray for the protection of the innocent, the end of oppression, and the freedom of those unjustly punished like Kelsang and his family (The Holy Bible, Isaiah 41:10).
- Pray for peace, an end to violence, and a resolution to the conflict that respects the rights and well-being of the Tibetan people (The Holy Bible, Psalms 46).
