The 10/40 Window Prays for Ukraine

Ukraine is outside the 10/40 Window; however, we are making an exception for this nation that has been invaded by Russia.

The Russian military began an unprovoked attack on neighboring Ukraine on Thursday, February 24th. By Friday evening, Russia had launched 200 missiles. Russia’s malicious invasion is already the biggest military operation in Europe since the end of World War II.

The U.N. reports 25 civilian deaths from the shelling, and over 100,000 terrified Ukrainians are fleeing the country. If the fighting escalates, that number could rise to four million. Kyiv, the capital city, is home to well over three million. Russian forces are attacking Kyiv from three points in hopes of a quick victory. On Friday there were 137 reported deaths, but that number is likely to be inaccurate.

Let us pray fervently for:

  • Jehovah Jireh to supernaturally provide for the people of Ukraine during this crisis (The Bible, Genesis 22:14).
  • God, Who is a Warrior to fight and intervene to protect the small country of Ukraine from the mighty country of Russia (The Bible, Exodus15:2).
  • God to protect Christian pastors and leaders who have been targeted by Putin and his soldiers. Russians are presently hunting them down (The Bible, Psalms 91).
  • God to reveal His strategy to soundly defeat the Russian soldiers and their allies. Ask God to place a hedge of protection around President Volodymyr Zelensky, military, leaders, and people nationwide (The Bible, 2 Samuel 22:3-4).
  • God to set ambushes against Russian soldiers and they will start to fight among themselves (The Bible, 2 Chronicles 20:22)
  • God’s peace and comfort to envelop the people who are frightened (The Bible, Isaiah 60:18).
  • The Lord to send the angel who slewed 185,000 soldiers in one night to overtake the Russian army (The Bible, 2 Kings 19:35)
  • The Lord to push back the work of the Russian aggressors (The Bible, Psalm 72:14).
  • For Russian leader, Vladimir Putin, to either repent or perish (The Bible, Psalm 55:15).
