Thousands of Sudanese civilians are fleeing for their lives after a brutal RSF attack on the Zamzam displacement camp near el-Fasher in Darfur, where survivors report extreme hunger, thirst, and violence. Many are walking 40km to Tawila in scorching heat, with some dying en route. Aid agencies describe horrific scenes, including starvation, rape, and bodies left along roads. The RSF’s assault, part of a broader conflict with the army, has killed at least 481 people near El-Fasher since 10th April’2025 and forced 13 million from their homes. The UN warns of famine, collapsing healthcare, and ethnic targeting, with UK officials accusing the RSF of potential crimes against humanity. Tawila, now sheltering up to 150,000 people, lacks food and water. The situation is widely regarded as the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.

Oh, LORD, have mercy on the people of Sudan as they are suffering violence, extreme hunger, and thirst. Say one word, LORD, say to them, “Live!” amidst the bloodshed in the nation (The Holy Bible, Ezekiel 16:6).

Pray for the LORD’s intervention in Sudan against violent attacks on civilians. Pray for divine protection and provision for all the displaced Sudanese people (The Holy Bible, Job 35:9).
