Health workers have long argued that strict overtime limits were unfair, as they are required to work extra hours beyond their official shifts. The National Pay Commission addressed a major demand raised by the Maldives Health Professionals Union, and based on this, the government has removed the overtime pay limit for the Maldives Health Workers during holidays. This will give health workers a big relief and allow them to do their work more efficiently and happily.
