The civil war in Sudan, which began in April 2023, involves the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) against the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), both fighting for political and economic control. Saudi Arabia and the UAE have become key players, with Saudi Arabia supporting SAF leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the UAE backing RSF leader Mohamed Dagalo (Hemedti). Their involvement, driven by regional influence and Sudan’s strategic importance, has intensified the conflict. This makes the peace efforts difficult as both sides rely on external support.
Pray against all the external support for the warring groups in Sudan’s conflict. Pray for the LORD to turn all the evil counsels of the international supporters into foolishness (The Holy Bible, 2 Samuel 15:31).
Pray for the LORD’s intervention in Sudan to end the violence and war. Pray for HIS divine protection upon all the innocent civilians caught in the crossfire of this conflict (The Holy Bible, Psalm 17:8).
Pray for the end of the bloodshed in Sudan. Declare healing and restoration upon all the people and the nation of Sudan, in Jesus’s Mighty Name (The Holy Bible, John 14:14).
