The United Nations has warned against misinformation campaigns creating hate speech and tensions toward refugees and migrants in Libya. Public unrest has increased with calls to expel undocumented migrants. Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah stressed that Libya will not become a destination for irregular migration and urged the public not to be misled by false information.
