Kuwait is steadily falling backward in terms of women’s rights. Their failure to allow women equal rights and heavily discriminate against them to extreme levels is quite alarming. The Kuwaiti government punishes honor killings only with fines or superficial jail sentences.
Pray against the indiscriminate arrests of social activists in Kuwait. Pray for the release of all such activists in the country (The Bible, Matthew 5:6).
Pray against the primitive mentality of lawmakers towards Kuwaiti women. Pray for a reformation of laws around violence against women in this country (The Bible, Psalm 90:12).
