March 20 marks the beginning of the New Year in Iran. The hard core political leaders in Iran have been pressurizing the development of nuclear weapons. There is increasing doubt about Iranian negotiations with the US directly. Iranian hard-liners believe that prioritizing on having nuclear capabilities will make them capable of handling the possibility of escalation in war. The demand of these sect leaders is causing threats to the stability in the region and also undermining the security internationally.
Abba Father, we pray for wisdom and restraint among world leaders. May diplomatic solutions prevail over the pursuit of weapons, and may peace replace tensions in the region. In Jesus’ name. Amen (The Bible, Matthew 5:9).
Abba Father, we come against the spirit of fear and destruction that leads nations to seek weapons instead of peace. Turn hearts toward righteousness and unity, and let Your peace reign over the world. In Jesus’ name. Amen (The Bible, Isaiah 2:4).
