The prosecutor at the International Criminal Court wants arrest orders for Afghan Taliban leaders, such as the top leader and chief judge, because of their role in targeting women and girls in the country. The inquiry uses evidence from August 2021. It shows crimes against humanity that include killing, detention, torture, sexual abuse, as well as forced disappearance. The prosecution demands that those who commit these acts against women, girls and other vulnerable groups in Afghanistan face justice.

Abba Father, we pray for Your intervention in Afghanistan against oppression. Father, protect all those persecuted for their gender identity, expression and beliefs from all evil. (The Holy Bible, Psalm 9:9).

Pray for the international community to voice out more for the deliverance of the vulnerable people in Afghanistan. Let there be solidarity and unity worldwide for a tremendous change in the country (The Holy Bible, Esther 4:14).
