Nan* was once a sex worker from a low-status in Asia. She was expected to continue in this role as a duty, even though it stripped her of her God‑given dignity. She heard the Gospel, responded to it, and began to train and disciple others from her community to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. In time, she trained and discipled many and planted churches. Women who were once prostitutes became daughters of the King of kings, and they are following Him today.

As Nan* was leading a church service earlier this year, she was dragged out of the building and beaten to death. Though Nan* is with the Lord, her disciples can win, equip, and send others to continue what God began. There are several fellowships of Christian Believers from a caste that was unreached with the gospel before Nan* brought them the Good News. Will they continue what she began if they face persecution?

Let Us Pray Fervently For:

  • Praise God that the movement Nan* began continues to grow (The Bible, Acts 2:40-42).
  • Pray for that churches and leaders will not walk in fear (The Bible, Acts 4:18-21).
  • Ask God to protect these leaders and all who put their faith in Jesus (The Bible, Psalm 64:1).
  • Pray that many of the persecutors will become loving and faithful ambassadors of Christ (The Bible, Psalm 9:1-6).
