In recent decades, the percentage of Christian Believers in Egypt has declined, yet the Lord is deepening the faith of many through disciple‑making movements and through the use of a ministry app. One team is working to ignite a healthy and sustainable disciple‑making movement in Egypt. They train local Christian believers in the biblical principles of disciple making, as well as in practical areas such as starting and running businesses, maintaining financial health, and addressing family issues in Christ‑like ways.
Recently, this team encouraged two Egyptian disciples to create lists of Christian Believers they can strengthen and unbelievers they can reach for Christ. One of them immediately began reaching out to the people on those lists. Meanwhile, the team leader has left Egypt and is now coordinating an international team of disciplers. Their Waha app (waha.app) provides Bible study materials and disciple‑making tools. The app is especially valuable for Muslims who want to explore the claims of Christ privately and without negative public pressure.
Let Us Pray Fervently For:
- Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide them as they seek to make progress toward catalyzing global disciple-making movements (The Bible, Isaiah 8:16).
- Pray for more Believers in North Africa to become fruitful disciple makers (The Bible, Matthew 11:1).
- Pray for them to reach hundreds of Muslims with hearts that are spiritually soft and ready for the only Savior (The Bible, Acts 5:12-16).
