Casablanca Finance City (CFC) is a business district in Casablanca, Morocco, created to attract international companies and become a gateway for investment into Africa. Since it started in 2010, over 240 companies have joined, creating more than 7,000 jobs. Morocco is using the CFC to grow its influence in Africa and support the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), which aims to boost trade among African countries. CFC offers tax benefits and a stable environment that many businesses find attractive, especially during global trade tensions. The district is also focusing on sustainability, fintech, artificial intelligence, and carbon markets. However, critics say CFC benefits wealthy investors more than ordinary Moroccans and that most of Morocco’s exports still go to Europe. Others argue that while hubs like CFC are useful, African governments should focus more on fixing deeper issues like bureaucratic hurdles, poor infrastructure, and border restrictions to support long-term economic growth.

Pray for the success of the efforts of the authorities to improve Africa’s economy through the Casablanca Finance City (CFC) in Morocco. Pray for economic stability and growth in the region (The Holy Bible, Psalm 118:25).

Pray for equal opportunities for all the local investors in Morocco and the region. Pray for unity and oneness among African governments to overcome hurdles and restrictions, and to enhance infrastructure, thereby working towards economic growth in the region (The Holy Bible, Psalm 133:1-3).
