Child marriage, early pregnancy, and sexual harassment continue to pose significant challenges for adolescent girls in Bangladesh. Child marriage, in particular, persists due to poverty, deep rooted social norms, and weak law enforcement, overshadowing some of the country’s socioeconomic aspects.
Abba Father, we pray for the young girls of Bangladesh who face the danger of child marriage, early pregnancy, and violence. Lord shield them from harm, and we ask for Your divine protection over these precious lives. In Jesus’ name. Amen (The Bible, Psalm 9:9).
Lord, we ask for transformation in Bangladesh, that harmful tradition be replaced with hope, education, and opportunity for every girl. We declare freedom, and a bright future for them, in Jesus’ name. Amen (The Bible, Proverbs 31:8).
