A UN official warned that the ongoing crisis in Yemen has severely impacted women and girls, with 9.6 million in urgent need of humanitarian aid. Yemen has the highest maternal mortality rate in the Middle East, and many women and girls face hunger, abuse, and exploitation. Over 1.5 million girls are out of school, and 1.3 million pregnant women are malnourished. The war, ongoing for nearly a decade, has caused immense suffering and exacerbated the humanitarian crisis.
Father GOD, sustain Your dear daughters in Yemen by Your divine strength. May they find hope, love and refuge in You during this time of crisis (The Holy Bible, Psalm 27:1).
