A UN official warned that the ongoing crisis in Yemen has severely impacted women and girls, with 9.6 million in urgent need of humanitarian aid. Yemen has the highest maternal mortality rate in the Middle East, and many women and girls face hunger, abuse, and exploitation. Over 1.5 million girls are out of school, and 1.3 million pregnant women are malnourished. The war, ongoing for nearly a decade, has caused immense suffering and exacerbated the humanitarian crisis.
Father GOD, as You have promised, please cover the women and girls in Yemen with Your feathers from all evil and evil-doers. Let them find refuge, hope, and healing under Your wings (The Holy Bible, Psalm 91:4).
