Nearly 19% of the world’s children, or over 473 million, live in conflict zones, with UNICEF warning that this dramatic rise in child suffering should not become the “new normal.” In 2023, the UN verified a record 32,990 violations against children in conflicts, with the Gaza War and the Ukraine conflict causing devastating harm. Children in war zones face school closures, malnutrition, healthcare disruptions, and mental health crises. In Gaza, polio resurfaced after 25 years, and more than 52 million children have missed education due to conflict. UNICEF emphasizes the urgent need to protect these children, stressing that they are increasingly victims of violence, displacement, and deprivation, urging the world to take action to save them.

Abba Father, with all the reverence and with gratitude for the children at our home, we come into Your Presence, pleading the cause of innocent children living in the conflict zones. Have mercy on them and help them, LORD. We plead for Your divine protection, provision, love, and care that they desperately need in this time of crisis (The Holy Bible, Matthew 19:14).

Father GOD, we pray for the end of hatred and conflicts across the 10/40 Window and throughout the world. Bless the children living in the conflict zones with hope and a bright future, in Jesus’s Mighty Name, Amen (The Holy Bible, Jeremiah 31:17).
