Day 20
Lebanon
Praise points
Praise God for Lebanon’s freedom of religion despite the indoctrination through television programs by radical Islamic elements-controlled channels (The Bible, 1 Corinthians 15:50).
Praise God for the Great Commission work among the Syrian refugees who are still in Lebanon (The Bible, John 8:12).
Prayer Points
Pray for this conflict-riddled country to attain lasting peace for the next generation (The Bible, Psalm 62:8).
Pray for God’s divine intervention to dismantle Hezbollah permanently from Lebanon (The Bible, Psalm 9:16).
Pray for the country to have the opportunity to hold free and fair elections to elect a proper government to power (The Bible, Psalm 8:6).
A Call to Salvation
Let the evil men and the wicked schemes they have for Lebanon be demolished in the NAME of JESUS CHRIST (The Bible, Psalm 9:5). Let the works of satan in Lebanon be destroyed permanently in Lebanon’s spiritual realms (The Bible, Psalm 12:7). Let this land be restored to the KINGDOM HARVEST (The Bible, 2 Corinthians 10:4).
Promise to the Nation
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes (The Bible, Psalm 37:7).
Lebanon is a Middle Eastern country with a long history of civil wars and conflicts with Israel. Although they did not participate in the Arab-Israel war of 1967, they became the inadvertent host to Palestinian terrorists. The attacks on Israel from Lebanese soil constantly brought the IDF to Beirut over the years. Multiple wars weakened the economy significantly and left no scope for foreign investments. The country has no active government for the last four years. The Iran-backed Hezbollah staked its claim as Lebanon’s self-proclaimed defenders. Iran used Hezbollah to launch attacks against Israel, and the Lebanese people were left to deal with Israel’s wrath. This type of conflict is the scenario even today in Lebanon. The Lebanese people are going through a challenging time with food shortage, massive inflation, unemployment, poverty, and lack of governance.
