West Bank: A group of 20 reporters traveling in press vehicles was halted by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers, who were wearing black balaclava masks that concealed most of their faces, while en route to Masafer Yatta. In a video shared by Abraham, an IDF major informs the journalists that they have “a reasonable time of 10 minutes” to vacate the area. He also stated that the establishment of new settlements is “a strategic move that hinders the formation of a Palestinian state that could pose a threat to Israel.”
