The people of Myanmar continue to endure hardship under military rule, following the 2021 coup that overthrew the civilian government. Armed conflict, economic collapse, and humanitarian crises have deeply affected civilians, with many forced to flee their homes or take up resistance against the junta. The struggle for democracy remains intense, with opposition groups, ethnic minorities, and activists facing violent crackdowns.

Despite the challenges, the resilience of the people remains strong. Underground movements, international advocacy, and grassroots resistance efforts continue to push for an end to military rule. However, the crisis has left deep scars—families torn apart, communities destroyed, and a generation growing up amid violence and fear. The urgent need for peace, justice, and restoration in Myanmar remains critical.

  • Pray that God will bring an end to war, bloodshed, and oppression in Myanmar, restoring peace to the nation (The Bible, Psalm 46:9).
  • Pray for civilians, especially children and families, who have lost homes, loved ones, and stability due to war (The Bible, Isaiah 40:29).
  • Pray that the body of Christ in Myanmar will stand strong in faith, minister to the suffering, and be a witness of God’s love in these difficult times (The Bible, Matthew 5:14).
