Libya: Ibrahim Hadiya Al-Majbri, the Director-General of the Libyan News Agency (LANA), signed a partnership and cooperation agreement with his Moroccan counterpart, Fouad Al-Aref, Director-General of the Moroccan Arab Press Agency (MAP), in Rabat, Morocco.

During the signing event, Al-Majbri highlighted that the agreement encompasses various areas of collaboration, such as news exchange, training, development, and coordination between the two agencies. He expressed confidence that this partnership would enhance the mutual interests of both countries and improve their coordination and cooperation. Additionally, it would create new opportunities for professional media collaboration between LANA and MAP.

In his remarks, Al-Majbri commended the advanced state and significant progress he observed during his visit to the MAP headquarters, which included a wide range of media platforms across electronic and print formats, including television, radio, and various editorial levels.

  • Lord, we pray for Libya and Morocco news agencies as they make an agreement of collaboration. We ask You to equip and inspire those working in LANA and MAP to strive for excellence, seeking truth and integrity (The Holy Bible, Romans 12:1).
  • Lord, You are God of justice and compassion; please grant opportunities and protection to all working in LANA and MAP who are determined to expose corruption, oppression, and exploitation, especially when their lives are at risk (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 31:8).
