Algeria: Libya and Algeria have reiterated their dedication to enhancing financial and economic collaboration during high-level discussions that took place alongside the annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group in Algiers. A key focus of their conversation was the Maghreb Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade’s role in fostering regional integration. Both ministers highlighted the bank’s significance in promoting intra-Maghreb trade and collaborative investment projects. They also explored the possibility of increasing the bank’s capital to better fulfill its developmental objectives and provide more substantial support to the economies of member countries.
