Country Information

The United Arab Emirates (UAE), is one of the most wealthy and advanced countries in the Arabian Peninsula – Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm Al Quwain are the seven emirates of the fedaration. Christianity, though not native to the UAE, entered through expatriates and visiting missionaries, with early Christian influence traced back to the Church of the East in the Gulf centuries ago and later through modern church leaders who helped establish congregations for foreign workers.

While radio Bible broadcasts have provided access to the Word, the UAE Church remains under threat from persecution, censorship, and the fear of deportation.
