The controversial forcible firm suggestion of U.S. President Donald Trump is to relocate Palestinians of the Gaza strip in Egypt and Jordan. This is considered almost as ethnic cleansing and is causing panic among the country leaders. Trump insisted upon this plan to Jordan’s King Abdullah II, that he will be willing to use U.S. aid to carry out the plan. The king of Jordan in order to comply, expressed his desire to treat medically 2,000 sick Palestinian children. But the proposal of U.S. President Donald Trump is being vehemently opposed by Jordan and Egypt. Egypt has hosted an emergency Arab Summit on February 27 to device a collective Arab response. It is suggested by analysts that this can even bring major change the alliance of the countries in the region.
Abba Father, we cry out for peace in Gaza and the Middle East. We pray for justice and protection for the Palestinian people, that they may not be displaced or suffer further. Soften the hearts of leaders, that they may seek wisdom and righteousness in their decisions. May Your will be done, and may Your love and justice reign over this conflict. In Jesus’ name, Amen ( The Bible, Isaiah 1:17).
Lord, we lift up the leaders of the world, especially those involved in this crisis. Give them the wisdom to seek peace and not conflict, justice and not oppression. Turn their hearts toward solutions that honor the dignity and rights of all people. Let Your truth guide their actions, and may peace prevail. Amen ( The Bible, Proverbs 21:1).
