God Is All-Powerful Among the Fulani and Tuaregs in Niger!

You have read prayer requests for our brethren in Niger who have suffered at the hands of Muslim Fulani and Tuareg herdsmen. That land is in a constant state of drought, causing Christian farmers and Muslim Fulani herdsmen to need the same fertile lands. These conflicts have been leading to violence for many years. Mission Network News has been reporting on this humanly impossible situation for years, and the news has almost always been tragic. But not this time!

The Prince of Peace is building bridges of love in a land where hatred and covetousness have reigned. Todd Nettleton of The Voice of the Martyrs USA monitors issues of persecution. He reported in March that there are now Fulani and Tuareg men and women being baptized and putting their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. Some of them are going from village to village, telling others to put their trust in the all-powerful God of the Bible!

Let us pray fervently for:

  • That these efforts will lead to movements to Christ among both the Fulani and Tuareg Muslim communities (The Bible, Acts 13:48-49).
  • That 2022 will be a year of a massive harvest, resulting in thousands being saved from sin and death (The Bible, Acts 4:4).
  • For the Lord to protect new believers, especially those who dare to take Christ to the Muslims (The Bible, 2 Timothy 4:18).
  • For the audio Bibles being given to these Muslims to bear fruit (The Bible, Isaiah 55:11).
