Combined detachments of the National Gendarmerie and Algerian Customs apprehended a drug trafficker on the National Road No. 1 linking Ghardaia to Laghouat and seized 121.40 kg of cocaine stashed in his vehicle, while Border Guards arrested four Moroccan nationals and seized 106 kilograms of cannabis resin they were attempting to introduce into the national territory through the western borders of the country, according to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense.
