NEPAL: Women farmers play a vital role in sustaining Nepal’s food systems, contributing significantly to agriculture and household nutrition. Despite their efforts, many face challenges such as limited access to land, resources, and financial support. Their resilience continues to support rural communities and local economies. Increasing recognition is being given to their contributions and the need for empowerment. Strengthening their role could greatly improve food security and sustainable development.
