EGYPT: The Ministry of Civil Aviation plans to boost the total passenger capacity at Egyptian airports to 72.2 million by the end of 2025, while also enhancing service quality as part of the government’s strategy to draw in 30 million tourists each year.
Al-Sisi asked the government to build strategic partnerships that will attract more foreign direct investment in the aviation industry, including creating integrated investment zones around airports. He also emphasized the importance of following environmental standards as Egypt moves towards a green economy and aims for a sustainable aviation system.
Additionally, the president urged quick and effective responses to passenger feedback and complaints to improve the overall travel experience and increase trust in Egypt’s airport services.
