GAZA STRIP: World leaders are glad to hear that Israel and Hamas have reached an agreement on the first step of a peace plan for Gaza. This deal will help free Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners, pull Israeli soldiers out of Gaza, and allow aid to enter the area. Hamas described the talks as “responsible and serious,” urging the US and other mediators to make sure that Israel follows through with the agreement quickly and without any excuses.
