Bless the projects for developing digital public infrastructure and digital payment systems, which are important tools for attaining socio-economic growth.
Bless Adama Barrow, the President of The Gambia, with God’s wisdom and guidance to improve people’s literacy and employ the youth.
Pray for the Churches and the Christian Believers to withstand poverty and opposition and enforce the proclamation of the Gospel all across the country (The Bible, Acts 28:31).
This West African country of The Gambia is a least developed country. Due to the slow progress of human development, The Gambia still remains as one of the poorest countries in the world. It is surrounded by Senegal and its western coast on the Atlantic Ocean. It is considered to be the smallest country on the mainland of Africa. The population in The Gambia is about two million. Ten percent of the people are living in other countries for their jobs. The Gambia River runs through the middle of the country and it is the main source for water. But it is sufficient to meet the water requirement for only one-sixth of the land. The Gambia is the country predominantly Muslim. Most of the population are practicing the basic tenets of Islam. But generally, it is a tolerant country of all religious creeds and belief systems of people. It is essentially a secular country and it takes pride on its broad-minded acceptance of all faiths. About three percent of the population are Protestant Christians.
