Raise Bold Witnesses Among Youth – “Do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord” (2 Timothy 1:8).

Nepal, a small Himalayan nation between India and China, carries a rich history shaped by Hindu and Buddhist traditions, monarchy, and recent political shifts into democracy. Its culture thrives in festivals, music, dance, and deep spiritual practices rooted in the Himalayas, with Mount Everest symbolizing national pride and endurance.
Christianity entered Nepal in the 18th and 19th centuries through missionaries and Christian leaders who, though initially facing heavy resistance and persecution, sowed the seeds of the faith. Prominent pioneers such as William Carey influenced regional missions, while later Nepali converts and returning migrants helped establish churches. Today, Nepali Christian teenagers face immense struggles—from societal rejection and family disownment to peer pressure in schools where their faith is marginalized.
The body of Christ in Nepal also suffers from disunity due to denominational rivalries, foreign influence, and lack of strong indigenous leadership, weakening its witness. To prevent the extinction of Christianity in Nepal, believers must return to biblical unity (John 17:21), discipleship rooted in Scripture, and sacrificial love that transcends divisions.
