China
China’s threat encompasses economic coercion, support for terrorism, propaganda and misinformation, territorial disputes, and potential war with Taiwan. In the face of terrorist atrocities, the Chinese government has launched preventive and punitive countermeasures under the law. It preserves deterrence against terrorist forces, maximizing efforts to protect extremism.
Pray that the long-standing territorial dispute between China and Taiwan finds a diplomatic solution in Jesus’ Name (The Holy Bible, Colossians 3:13).
China is now the second most populated country in the world after India. With a grim and closed history, the East Asian country is one of the largest economies. The Communist Party reigns supreme in China. Although the regime projects a liberal view towards Christianity, it aims to control the narrative. A government-approved bible and church for appearances. However, the unauthorized Church in China faces intense persecution. Their faith is strong. Their attitude towards growing the Kingdom of God is urgent. They sent Christian missionaries to Pakistan, Afghanistan, and several African countries. Despite the killing of missionaries in Pakistan and Afghanistan by terrorists, they sent in more people to replace the martyrs. Ranked 16th in the Open Doors Persecution listing, China increased policy and physical violence against Christians in the past year.
