Myanmar’s military government plans to hold elections in December or January but many people worry they will not be fair. Since the 2021 coup, the country has faced violence strict rules, and money problems. Many people including Christians are suffering because of these hardships. Some hope the elections will bring change but others fear they will not be honest. The voices of those who are suffering like those who lost their homes should not be ignored. As Christians, we must stand for truth and fairness. God sees his people’s pain and will bring justice immediately. Let us pray for Myanmar and ask God to guide this nation. May His peace and goodness win over human plans. The church must continue to bring hope and light to those in need.
- Father, we pray that Christians and all oppressed people in Myanmar will stand firm in faith knowing that God is their refuge (The Holy Bible, Psalm 9:9).
- Father, we pray to expose injustice and ensure that the truth prevails so that the people of Myanmar may experience Your peace and freedom (The Holy Bible, John 8:32).
