Israel’s military intercepted two missiles launched from Yemen by the Houthis, who vowed to escalate attacks, including on Israel, in retaliation for U.S. airstrikes. The Houthis, part of the anti-Israel “Axis of Resistance,” claim solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza and have carried out over 100 attacks on shipping. One of the missiles targeted Ben Gurion airport but was intercepted before reaching Israel.
