Going Where The Gospel is Not Preached in Myanmar

In Romans 15:20, the Apostle Paul tells us, … I make it my ambition to preach the Gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else’s foundation…” Without others following Paul’s lead, the Gospel would have sputtered out in Jerusalem and Judea. Paul recognized that Jesus Christ is the savior of all nations, which means we must preach the Gospel to the unreached.

A team of evangelists in Myanmar wants to begin a ministry in an area the Gospel has not yet touched. The people they will reach are putting their faith in the spirit world and a truncated version of Buddhism. They make offerings to these spirits, hoping to be aided rather than harmed by them. They do not know about the All-Powerful God of Heaven, who offers much more.

This outreach, led by a team of seven individuals, is urgent. These spiritually needy people are waiting to hear the Gospel. Despite their limited experience, the team is committed to making disciples. Will you join us in praying for them and the success of their mission?

Let us pray fervently for:

  • Pray for each of these evangelists to be empowered and rooted in the love of God (The Bible, Romans 8:39).
  • Pray for this “green” team to be protected from the enemy’s attacks who want to sow division and conflict (The Bible, 1 John 5:18).
  • Pray for good fruit from this ministry, including new disciples, spiritual blessings, and momentum to take the Gospel even further in this Buddhist country (The Bible, Mark 4:20).
