The calamity in Lebanon has caused fear and displacement for many families, especially Christians living in the south. Because of ongoing fighting and evacuation orders, hundreds of thousands of people have been forced to leave their homes. Many have moved to Beirut, where they now struggle to find safety, shelter, and basic needs. Villages in the south have been hit by airstrikes and shelling, making daily life very dangerous. Some families chose to stay to protect their homes, even while surrounded by conflict, while others fled quickly to survive. Aid groups are trying to help by providing food, fuel, and support to displaced families. Many people fear they may never return home and worry about losing their communities forever. The crisis has also raised concern that long-term war could force more Christians and other minorities to leave the region, deepening fear, loss, and uncertainty across Lebanon.

Pray for divine protection upon all the people in South Lebanon, especially internally displaced people, during this time of uncertainty. Pray for divine and uninterrupted provision of clean drinking water, food, healthcare, a place to sleep, and other basic needs and rights for all the displaced families (The Holy Bible, Psalm 17:8).

Pray for more religious tolerance in Lebanon. Pray for the Lebanese government to take action to protect all religious minorities in the country from all violence. Pray for peace and justice to prevail in the country (The Holy Bible, Psalm 10:18).
