JORDAN: In 2025, Jordan recorded 74,034 marriages and 23,705 divorces, along with 179,666 births and 31,015 deaths among citizens holding national numbers. The country’s population reached approximately 8.9 million by the end of the year. The Civil Status and Passports Department (CSPD) also supports non-Jordanians by documenting vital events for use in their home countries. Significant progress has been made in digital transformation, with around 85 million documents archived and 70 million still being processed. Since 2002, all registrations have been fully electronic, improving efficiency, reducing delays, and eliminating the need for citizens to visit specific offices.
Heavenly Father, strengthen marriages and families in Jordan. Let love, unity, and understanding grow in every home. Amen (The Holy Bible, Mark 10:9).
Lord, we thank You for every new life. Bless the children born this year with health, protection, and a bright future. Amen (The Holy Bible, Psalm 127:3).
