Officials expressed confidence that with international cooperation, these operations can be eradicated. The law introduces strict penalties, including long prison terms and heavy fines for those involved, especially if crimes involve violence, trafficking, or death. Authorities highlighted the growing complexity of online scams, including the use of artificial intelligence, encrypted platforms, and fraudulent financial schemes. The government has already made progress through nationwide crackdowns and is now strengthening its legal and technical capacity. The law also ensures protection for victims and cooperating individuals, while emphasizing transparent and firm enforcement to safeguard public security and national reputation.
