Kim Jong-un’s daughter, Kim Ju-ae, appeared with him in China ahead of a major event, adding to rumours she may become North Korea’s first female leader. Though her age and identity are unconfirmed, she is believed to be around 12 and has appeared in public many times, especially at military events. She made her international debut in Beijing, standing behind her father as they arrived by train. Experts say this shows she is being prepared for leadership. Ju-ae has become a regular part of Kim’s entourage, attending missile launches and national celebrations. South Korea’s intelligence agency believes she is being groomed to lead, although the process and reaction from North Korea’s powerful elites remain unclear. She is said to be gaining useful experience meeting foreign officials. Her presence at more political and economic events in recent months suggests her role is growing, possibly as part of a long-term plan for succession.

Pray for divine wisdom and guidance for Kim Ju-ae and other children in Kim’s family, that they may be led towards the Truth. Pray for divine protection upon them from indoctrination and the wrong ideology of the authoritarian rule in North Korea (The Holy Bible, John 14:6).

Sovereign LORD, break the chains of oppression in North Korea. Let Your Kingdom come, and Your Will be done in the country, in the Mighty Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen (The Holy Bible, Matthew 6:10).
