In Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley, the Christian community remains steadfast in the face of war and economic hardship. Families are assisting the displaced who have lost their homes, providing food, shelter, and care. One elderly widow went so far as to take 13 strangers into her small house, relying on her faith for strength. New religious communities are flourishing in the valley, with young monks constructing their monasteries by hand. Some came back from overseas to heed their call to their faith. Nuns within the region teach in schools where Christian and Muslim children both learn, promoting peace and tolerance. These schools are attended by many Muslim families due to the high standards and excellent values. The Church is providing hope through its charitable care for others, educational support, and love for everyone, regardless of their background. During this tough time, their kindness and belief stand out as a good model of compassion and harmony.

Praise GOD for the vibrant Christian presence in Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley. Pray for the neighboring communities to see Jesus Christ, our Savior, in the Christians in the region (The Holy Bible, Galatians 2:20).

Pray for the economic stability in Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley. Pray for the peaceful coexistence and harmonious living together in their homeland (The Holy Bible, Jeremiah 31:24).
