Since the civil war began in Sudan in April 2023, over one million people have fled to nearby countries for safety. Many refugees come from tribes that have never heard about Jesus. Send Relief partners are helping by giving food and supplies directly to refugees in five camps. They have distributed more than 70,000 pounds of food and other relief items. Along with providing food, Send Relief partners share the message of Jesus through worship songs and sermons. As a result, 178 people, including 16 from unreached tribes, accepted Jesus as their Savior. After each distribution event, volunteers stay in the camps to talk more with new believers and help them grow in faith. Send Relief’s work is ongoing, providing both physical help and spiritual hope to those affected by the conflict in Sudan.
Praise GOD for the Christian aid agencies like ‘Send Relief’ who are working among the Sudanese refugees. Pray that through these agencies, more Sudanese people to get a chance to hear the Gospel. (The Holy Bible, 2 Timothy 4:2).
Lord Holy Spirit, we pray for Your mighty move among the Sudanese refugees who face uncertainty. Fill their hearts with divine peace and hope when they hear the Good News. We claim all the souls of Sudan for the Kingdom of GOD, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen (The Holy Bible, Psalm 2:8).
