LIBYA: The Ministry of Social Affairs held a meeting with UNICEF to assess the progress of their collaborative action plan for 2025–26. Officials from the ministry, the Women’s Support and Empowerment Office, the Higher Committee for Childhood, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the UN children’s agency participated in the discussions. The agenda included training programs for social and psychological professionals, enhancing services for at-risk groups, and strategies for enforcing the Child Protection Law. They also explored options for broadening social protection and support initiatives to foster a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Lord, we pray for the officials involved in the collaborative action plan between the Libyan Ministry of Social Affairs and UNICEF. Grant them wisdom, unity, and a shared vision as they work together to implement effective training programs and services for at-risk children (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 22:6).
