Police in Nibong Tebal, Penang, shut down a heroin processing lab on Tuesday. The raid happened in a house in Taman Tambun Permai, Bukit Tambun. Officers arrested three men connected to the drug syndicate. They seized 1.1 kg of heroin, heroin base, caffeine, and other chemicals. Drug processing equipment was also found in the house. A second raid nearby caught a Sri Lankan man with 26 kg of caffeine. Police also took two cars and two motorcycles from the suspects. Investigations show the first house was used for processing heroin. The group is believed to have been distributing heroin locally since January. All three suspects are in police custody until August 19.
Abba Father, bring freedom and healing to those trapped in drug addiction, and guide them toward a new life in You. Lord, keep our neighborhoods safe and protect our children from the dangers of drugs. In Jesus’ name. Amen (The Holy Bible, John 8:36).
Lord, give police and authorities wisdom and courage to stop drug crimes and protect communities (The Holy Bible, Proverbs 3:13).
